Sum 41 is a Pop-Punk band from Ajax, Ontario, Canada. The band was formed from members of several local high school bands, 41 days into the summer of 1996. The band consists of: Deryck Whibley a.k.a. Bizzy D (lead vocals, guitar) Jason McCaslin a.k.a. Cone (bass, backing vocals) Steve Jocz a.k.a. Stevo32 (drums, backing vocals). Tom Thacker a.k.a. Brown Tom (Touring Member) (guitar, backing vocals, keyboard). Dave Baksh (A.K.A. Dave Brownsound was the lead guitarist for most of the bands lineup, but left the band in 2006 Other former members: Marc Costanzo - Lead guitar Richard Roy - Bass, backing vocals Mark Spicoluk - Bass, backing vocals Sum 41 reached mainstream success with the release of All Killer No Filler, which sold over 2 million copies. The album was made popular due to the hit singles "Fat Lip" and "In Too Deep", the former reaching number 1 on the US Modern Rock charts. Since signing a record deal with Island Records in 1999, the band has released four studio albums, two live CDs, two live DVDs, over ten singles and sold millions of copies worldwide.
